This policy covers the games Frogee Studios makes, starting with Beam Them Back, and this website. The short version: nothing is collected until you say yes, and what we collect never identifies you.

Beam Them Back

What we collect, and when

Nothing is collected until you say yes, either on the first-launch consent card or later by turning the toggle on in Settings. Once telemetry is on, Beam Them Back uploads a session log after you play: performance data (frame timing, crashes, session length) and gameplay events (which map, which wave, wins and losses, deaths, item use). This helps us fix bugs and tune balance. If you set a nickname, it is optional and entirely your choice; it travels with the log so we can tell your reports apart from someone else's, and nothing more is inferred from it.

What we never collect

We never collect your real name, your IP address, file paths from your computer, Steam friend codes or join codes, or any other player's identifying information. We do not build player profiles, and we do not sell or share this data with advertisers. There are no ads in Beam Them Back and no accounts to tie it to.

How to opt out

Say no on the first-launch consent card, or switch the telemetry toggle off in Settings at any time. Turning it off stops all future uploads immediately. Nothing already sent is recalled, but nothing new goes out either.

Third parties

• Steam. Achievements are read and written through Valve's Steam API, and online play may run over Steam's networking. Your Steam account is covered by Valve's own privacy policy, not this one.
• Unity Relay. Online co-op may connect players through Unity's Relay service, a connection pipe with its own privacy practices.

We do not hand your data to anyone beyond these two, and only as needed to make the features above work.

Children

Beam Them Back is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we will remove it.

This website

frogeestudios.com is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no accounts or forms. It is served by GitHub Pages, whose servers keep ordinary web-server logs (such as IP addresses) as described in GitHub's privacy statement. The heading font is loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the request for the font file and nothing else from us.
